Tobi Sunmola

Tobi Sunmola (born Oluwatobiloba Jesutoromo Sunmola; November 13, 1993) commonly known by the name Tobi Sunmola is a Nigerian-British rapper, record producer. Born in Lagos and spent 16 years of his life in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom, Sunmola gained recognition as an artist in the 2010s, releasing a series of mixtapes in Manchester and developing a style that seamlessly merges nostalgic sounds we love from music in the 70s up to the 2000s across all genres. Intent on pursuing a career as a rapper, he released his debut EP CHILDHOOD CULTURE (2013),. He is widely regarded as one of the new exciting musicians of his time, and one to watch. His music evolved into melodies, production and songwriting. Influenced by artistes such as Michael Jackson, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Fela Kuti, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Skepta, to name a few, he reflects the times he finds himself in through his music.
